THE GIFT OF REST

I declare my thanks to the Lord for His grace that sustains me through the day. I am His beloved child and He assures me of rest. Relying on Christ’s perfect work for right standing with God, the burden of guilt and self-righteousness that wearied my soul has been lifted. As I remain in fellowship with Him and humbly learn of Him, I find rest for my soul. Amen!

It is useless for you to work so hard from early morning until late at night, anxiously working for food to eat; for God gives rest to his loved ones.
